Brass Candle Holders by Arthur Pe (Arthur Pettersson), Kolbäck, c.1960s

A pair of solid brass candle holders designed by Arthur Pettersson (1919–2015) and made in Kolbäck, Sweden. A wonderful play of vertical and horizontal circles, repeated also in positive and negative space. The bases carry the makers mark, Arthur Pe, and the location of production. Height 8.8cm x width 13.4cm x depth (base diameter) 6cm.
