A pair of beautiful, complimentary Swedish Grace vases designed by the Swedish ceramist, painter, textile artist and designer Eva Jancke-Björk (1882-1981) for Bo Fajans, in Gefle (the historical name for the city of Gävle), Sweden in the 1930s. She worked for Bo-Fajans (shortened from Bobergs Fajansfabrik 1884-1967) from 1925 until 1956. The larger vase is in shades of dark jade green and the smaller in a lighter celadon green, taking inspiration from classical forms and colours from Chinese ceramics. Large: height 17cm x width (incl. handles) 19cm x diameter 12.5cm. Small: height 9.5cm x width 8.5cm x diameter 7cm.
